Well Impressed Nano

EEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE This is perfect!!! Al you are a god cos you've answered my prayers on a tank small enough for my prep room at work :D :D :D that will fit perfectly next to where I have my laptop.

Would this hold a betta and some cherries nicely?

Popped into the Range in Harlow the other night to get one but it seems they only had the smaller version for £25 in stock. Going to check again today.

I would say yes will be fine however the std filter is far far to powerfull for betta or shrimp. If your ok to spend another £9 get a marina i25, almost silent and gentle flow :good:

oh wow thanks. I've been very concerned about this (I've been scrubbing the wood non-stop trying to get the black stuff off). I guess I can put it in my tank now!

this is normal?

yours look like drift wood not monapi. If you look at mine it has a very uniform dark choclate on one side your looks like it been burnt when it was being cut with a power tool :look:

ok. Where can I get one of these filters? is it a common one I could get from say pets at home or would I be ebaying? am I right in thinking the filter you get with it is 460 litres per hour..? going on a 5x tank volume that's wayyyyyyyyyyyy over powered o_O infact, I think that'd be too strong for my 48 litre o_O

yeah when i pluged it in i $hat myself, thought i was going to a nice gentle flow when rumbled into life and spat all the water over the side of the tank lol. The marina i25 i would think ebay as in retail will be £15+ would think

hahaha I can imagine >.< I've just looked on the range's website, it's not on there, but I'm hopefully going to go on saturday (or maybe tomorrow if I get super impatient lol) and see what they have. I need some wood for my main tank (and something to attach the xmas moss I have coming in the post) so I'll have a look at what they've got. What are the dimensions of the tank? I need to see if I have to raise the shelves above my workspace or not.

went into range, got some beautiful mopani pieces (can't beat £1.99!) and have decided to get the small 5.5ltr tank for just some cherries.

Can I just ask, does your Range have live fish to display their tanks? mine does and tbh it made me cry... big fancy goldfish in murky water in <50litre tanks, crammed with ornaments and raging torrents of bubbles from airstones! :(
