Found this little tank for £35 20L 9w light & filter. Has a little draw in the base to keep food which is air tight. Makes the pets@ home range look like garbage :good:

Only slight problem was the filter which come with, noodles, carbon and sponge :hyper: is 460LPH in a 20l tank is like a wasing machine lol

Got a Marine i25 off the bay for £9 really pleased with perfect for shrimp or a betta :good:

Exuse the poor pics

Looks good. You will need to cover the intake of the filter,Is it that grill in the picture?
I cover my Eheim Biopowers with a piece of stocking,You have to move it every week or else it can clog,The shrimp seem to love feeding off of it.

I had this filter too with shrimp and I will say that you might be ok with the filter intake as is if they are of a decent size, one thing I did notice was that you have to shake it oit like once a week as it slows down. Great tank!

Where from, Al?

I need to get one of these, saw them in my local garden centre a few years ago and I have never seen one since, where did you get it from and what are the dimensions please?

place caslled The Range is like a old woolworths store kind of place not sure if their all over.

Ill get tape measure out next time im in the office at a guess i would say 30cm cube plus the base

How funny, I was just coming to the forum to ask if anyone had found any decent nano tanks recently and saw this post straight away! :) Looks good! There is a range 2 mins from me in Harlow. Going to set one of these up on my desk at work should they have it in stock!

i have one of these, they were in P@H a couple of years back. Nice little tanks, and good little scape Al :good:

Looking good! The Range has some cracking fish products in. Not feeling the Mopani though... too robust for a nano imo. Needs to be a twiggy rooty piece.

Shrimp like tannis from the Mopani oh and it was 99p :good:

Not saying they don't, but a root of some sort would do the same. Just my opinion.

Fair play, im not overjoyed i agree roots look better but there a fair few quid more, for less then £1 it will do for the office lol

Too right mate. I have some of the 'cheap' mopani from The Range also  Your water will be bright yellow pretty soon if it's like mine! haha.

Not as bad as i thought, i found letting it sit 3 nights 1 in warm water 1 in cold then last in warm water seems to do well. I boild my 1st bit back in jan and still stains the water today. Got a fair bit of wood in the 350L tank but the tannis went quick in that one :(

Funny how each piece is different then. I soaked mine for about 4 or 5 days and the water was still yellow. I didn't mind really, but it was a bit too yellow in the end so i took it out.
