This is bang on now! really liking the look of this

Thank you What do you think about the stems behind the rocks?

I quite like the thick stems, acts as a solid contrast between the more delicate looking forground plants.


What is the stocking in there? and the tank dimensions? Just thinking some good quality Bosemani Rainbow fish would complete that look

So I couldn't resist temptation and bought home some red cherry shrimp and a new dwarf gourami. Even though I'm a little overstocked already I thought it would be ok as I will lay off the feeding a little and I've moved a few platy juveniles into my Asia's Tree tank which I have also bought some stock for and my new canister filter will be here by monday so that will beef up the filtration. I'm sure the cherries are going to have a field day with all the algae and moss I've got. And yes I've also bought algae food to supplement them as I know they can't live purely on growing algae Photos will be put on once they're settled in

Nicely scaped too. Like how you have created a bowl like scape with taller plants growing at the sides as well as the back. Bit unusual.

Time for an update.
Added anothe piece of bogwood, the moss has grown like crazy and so has everything else. My shrimp seem to be missing I can only ever see one.

Added a black background, now the plants really pop

Later on... bought a ton of Crypt Wendtii's, really bulked out on the plants now hehe

And like your other tank. Black background really makes everything..... well.... tidy. Just finishes it all off nicely.

Wish I could get my tank to look half as good.

One thing I noticed is that the uprooted HC Cuba that has attached itself to the java moss at the back is growing pretty well, a whole let better than what remains planted in the substrate I'm guessing its a lighting thing but I thought it might have suffered due to it being suspended rather than planted
