Wedding bettas

I agree momma, i'd love to have them at my wedding, but (like has been suggested before) people can take them home, with a care leaflet, and as long as i knew that the people would take care of them.

If in any doubt i wouldnt have them
 
I am personally pretty opposed to having these things on a table at a wedding, and there's just one main reason why

You brought up a very good point about the things that are likely to happen at a reception.

Why don't you suggest to her that having an aggressive male fish as part of the decorations would be a very inauspicious thing to do. It would signify the groom's role as the dominant one in their marriage, and would indubitably put some kind of jinx on it from the start. You know, just make something like that up. Maybe you could worry her enough that she will abandon the idea. :p
