It's shining over New York now. I took this picture a little less than an hour ago.

Wow... this is a classical Chris.... should be blown up and framed..... very good one.

What I do find interesting is that the moon is almost full at so many different places in the world.... I was always under the impression that, when we have a full moon here in SA, it would be in first quarter or any other phase in other parts of the world.....

Now, another question..... The moon rises in the East and goes down in the west.... Is that also universal???.... My photo was taken towards the East.

I always assumed that too Ludwig.

Since I fist say your post I've been taking note.

2 days ago the moon looked full (or almost full) last night...who knows it was too cloudy .
