I'm new to tropicals, but goldfish I know a little bit about! Their average life span (assuming no disease) is nearly 20 years, so yours is still a youngster! The oldest goldfish ever lived for 43 years after he was brought home from a fair (fun trivia). Just wondering what kind and how big it is? I love fancy goldfish... especially ranchus.
