I know that your not supposed to use distilled water but I read on other websites that you can mix it with tap water and use it. Is that true or is it still not safe to use distilled water at all? Right now I am just using conditioned tap water but I was just wondering.

I just use conditionned tap water

distilled water has no minerals in it. By mixing it with tap water, you are just lowering the hardness of your water basically, and diluting the minerals.

I don't know why someone would want to achieve this, unmless they had very very hard water
