Water Test

just tested my pH with the hagen master test kit and its a really dark grey or black..... it was like this on the 19th aswell.. Anyone else use this test?

yup.. ive used that test before... its pure garbage! (I had the same issue)
I now use a tera test for PH... it costs more but at least I can really tell whats going on

Are all the other test ok in it?

yup... from what ive seen... PO4 works.. but it wont detect low levels.. what u got in the master test?

okay.. i just found my own link....
Ammonia... is good if u get the salt water one.. i donno what test came in ur kit...
Nitrate good,
Carbonate Hardness good,
Calcium donno,
Nitrite not sure,
PH well u have seen,
iron... no need,
thats more or less what i think

theres amonia, nitrite nitrate phosphate calcium iron Ph hardness
think thats all them

check ur Ammonia 2 make sure it works for salt water... if it doesnt say salt water on it.. its probably no good
