Ive Seen Lots Of Pictures Of Betta Tanks Around The Site...But In ALot Of Them I Have Seen There Is No Heater, Just A Bowl With Water In...Do You Need High Temperature For A Betta? If Not Then Im Getting One ASAP! :S

heaters arent necessary but it make your betta happier if you have one to keep his/her water nice and warm. you could always try buying a heating pad instead of a heater and keep the bowl/tank on top of that and its works aswell :) oh yeah, bettas need water temp around 77 degrees farenheit I think

Usually room temp is fine. . . . but some ppl want to keep the water a constant temp and get the heater to insure that.

Hope that helps! :D

One of my bettas has got a heating pad. He sort of snoozes round it...got online arrived really fast......

I don't need one since my 10 gallon divided is in the kitchen and it is warm in there, plus the light from the tank helps warm the water. If I had a betta upstairs, it is much cooler and I would Definitely need one for a tank upstairs.
