Water quality

Are these conditions good? I thought the nitrate was high so I did a 10% water change right after these readings.

10 gallon #1:
nitrate- 40
nitrite- 0.5
hardness- 120
alkalinity- 120
ph- 7.2
temp.- 76F
This tank has platies,cories and otos

10 gallon #2:
nitrate- 40
nitrite- 0
hardness- 120
alkalinity- between 100 and 120
ph- 7.2
temp.- 79 F
This tank has guppies, cories and an oto

I just got the ammonia test today and both tanks register at 0. yay!

Before you add fish nitrites must be 0

They already have fish...the tanks are about 2 months old.
