Water Quality Problems

Right, on my small tank i have just done a 30% water change and done some tests after it.

PH = 7.2
Nitrate = 40
Ammonia = 2
Nitrite = 0.25

Now i need to know how harmful this is going to be to my fish, one betta and 3 corys, and if there is anything i can do to get the water quality to a better level.

I have sera toxivec which is meant to remove water polutants. has anyone used this before and how much success have you had?

Ouch! Not that bad though. Just keep doing water changes daily (I would only recomend 20%), the bacteria will eventually sort this stuff out. How small is small?

I would say to do another water change today, maybe do two a day, until both levels are under 1.0
