hellstorm is it the 3 cardinals that won't eat, and how long have you had them, ??

my cardinals wont eat, they like swalow it then spit it out again... im feeding them tetramin tropical flakes and bloodworms... bloodworms they dont even touch what shiould i feed them? or they r not use to the environment yet?0

the cardinals are probably swalowing the food they need and spitting out the rest, but i think william can answer this question for you as he keeps

Yeah often they do this if the pieces are too big they'll grab it and spit it out often breaking it up a bit before reswallowing and spitting out if it is still too big. Its no harm to them but you could try breaking up some of the fish flakes so they can swallow it easier first time, but like I said it will be no problem for them to break it themselves just they'll be messy eaters, spitting all over the place
