Good day,

my questions might sound stupid but I was not able to find this info on the Internet or books.

I almost setup my first tank and kind of confused how do I manage the water change?

Let say I am able to fill it up with the fresh water to test but how do I suck it back?

Do I need a pump for that? or I have to do that manually with the cup? :)

Sorry guys but I really don't know. I am pretty sure that I have to buy something from the store but what?

Thank you.

you can get a vacuum kinda thing that empties tanks for you yeah. but i just use a measuring jug. u only need to change 10-20% of your water normally so it dont take too long

its always good to mix your saltwater 24-48 hours before water change with an air stone or powerhead in the mixing container.
