Water Change Temp

Certainly if you have a combi boiler theres no problems with the water, I plumbed mine in using quick fit connections so even less metals to come into contact with.  If you have a tank then you would probably be fine with a good water treatment as its only a small amount of hot water in relation to cold!

yeah, it's deff a combi boiler.
also it's a 22"x18"x18" tank i use to do my water changes, according to the vol calc on here 1"depth in the 22"x18" is 1 uk gal (altho 10"depth is 14 uk gal).
1 pipette of dechlorinater doses 1.1 gal
so if i just run the water straight into the w/c tank from the kitchen tap then use 1 pipette for every inch of water in the w/c tank, that's it, water at right temp and properly dosed. the pump will then fill the fish tank as required.
SO much easier than what i was doing
