hi all,

i would like to attempt a brackish aquarium, :hyper: i have never don e one before so i need you all to fill me in!!
Also I need some ideas on stocking. I like the look of red scats, also dwarf puffers are cool but i think they are FW?

I have an empty 2ftx1ftx1ft sitting around, will this be any good?

Thanks in advance

Dwarf puffers are freshwater, and sadly red scats get too big for a tank that size.

A great place to start are the topics at the top of the forum, and Nmonks's brackish FAQ

Maybe something small such as Bumblebee Gobies, Figure 8 Puffer or Glassfish.

Sorry, can't remember Latin names off the top of my head.

Panther Gobies! or knight gobies, they are active fish and fun to look at. They need a higher salinity though, up to full SW. Or some good ol Mollies!

I believe that Knight Gobies will be fine in an SG of 1.002 to 1.010, if you was considering a lower/mid salinity setup.
