Want to build up my tanks

Definitely not. My bettas love it. It’s nice and soft for them to rest on. When it grows tall enough they especially like it, because they can rest on it close to the surface.

(I suggest getting the broad/long leaved Anacharis. The short leaved Anacharis doesn’t look as good. )

How do you clean the tank with sand? its everywhere.

You just have to go in and around the plants. It takes patience, but so does fish keeping. Am I right?
