Want to build up my tanks

That's a solid size right there. How long have you been in the hobby btw?
On and off for a few years but started up my tank again as I find it helps as I suffer from complex ptsd they are so calming for me I can sit there for hours watching and looking up things all fish

I have 2 tanks in my home at the moment
Tank 1 has mollys. Ghost widows, gourami and tetras, Moss balls.
What other fish can I add to my tank and advice on live plants please.
Tank 2 has an albino shark, Tilapia
If you could give us your water parameters. GH (general hardness) your PH and temperature members will be able to advise suitable fish for your water and tank size. As been mentioned your albino shark and gourami (depending on what specie) need bigger space and you do have hardwater fish like your mollys in with softer water fish like your tetra. Knowing your hardness here will help you going forward with picking the right fish :)

Ok, they should not be mixed is that right? As I have brought them from my local pet shop who always ask me what I have in my tank.
Nitrite is 0
Nitrate is 0.7
Ph is 7
Gh is 180
Kh is 5
Tank temperature is 77F/25C

Thats correct yes. Mollies need a ppm of 250+ so your waters not hard enough im affraid :( your tetra's are ok. Seriously fish is a very good website to look and get the right info for fish requirements. alternatively you could pop a list down of fish you like and members could advise if they would suit

I'm afraid most shop workers haven't a clue. They may ask what's in your tank but it's likely they do that because they've been told to, and don't know why they are supposed to ask except for maybe knowing that you shouldn't put tiny fish in a tank with huge fish.
Never take advice from a fish store worker, always ask here or check with Seriously Fish.

Educate yourself. Get a good tropical fish book ( a real book with paper pages) that covers all the generalities of water chemistry, tank sizes, fish compatibility and so forth. Read it thoroughly and then compare that with what you are told. Go to the pet shops and spend time watching all the fish. Take everything from the Internet with a grain of salt except what I tell you which is gospel.

I agree with @PheonixKingZ Anacharis is a great plant , water sprite is good too. I also like Java fern, Africa Water Fern and crested java fern. I also agree with @essjay and @Back in the fold most employees do not have a clue they only want to sell fish.

@Back in the fold, you’re back!!! :)

I agree with the above. Anyone from a PetSmart or PetCo has no clue what they’re talking about.

Do you think betta tail will stuck to this? If not I might get some.
Definitely not. My bettas love it. It’s nice and soft for them to rest on. When it grows tall enough they especially like it, because they can rest on it close to the surface. :)

(I suggest getting the broad/long leaved Anacharis. The short leaved Anacharis doesn’t look as good. ;))

I agree, I just picked up the broad leaf 2 weeks ago after having just short leaf version and it does look better and fills out nice, my ghost shrimp like to sit on it :kana:

I agree. My cherry shrimp love sitting on mine.:

Don’t worry I will be doing that from now on
