Very Ill Betta

Hey all,

I have returned from work to find my Betta with a very white clamy face, within a very distinctive area...the whole face...but no further down.

I have put hin in his own tank, but now 2 hours in, is losing the will to move.......

...is there anything I can do to save him???

Is it like a cottony white or is he just pale? Is there any loose bits of fluffy white on him?

Unfortuanately it did not take long for him to pass......

....He lived in a community tank.....I dont know if I can considr putting another betta in their?? although I matched the suitablility closely for him in reference to his tank mates, he may have just been happier on his own?

I am very sorry for your loss. If you clean and sterilize the tank it should be fine to get another fish. Most of the time, (but not always) bettas are most happiest by themselves.
