Say hello to Bud, my sub-adult male veiled chameleon who likes to really dig his claws in when I have to move him. He's a bit angry in this pic because I just showered him.

I have kept many different lizards before but never a true chameleon. I always wanted to try a Veiled, Panther, or Jackson chameleon.
At the reptile shows veiled chameleon babies went for $20.00, they were hard to pass up.

He's too cute Def! I want to see more pictures when he's not so grumpy

I love him!

And you passed it up elgecko? Wow I so would have bought one and figured something out when I got home, lol!

Wow thats cool, where did you get him from? Cant wait to see more pics

I remember the days when I could find chameleons in our garden in South Africa but alas things have changed and it's been years since I've been able to spot one in nature :( I do love chameleons though - they are such facinating creatures. Post some more pics please :)

They can, althought they may have to be mated first, I know jacksons get really mad at each other, but the LPS in the mall here has two of em together, also some species are more forgiving than others.

Snowie, in general chameleons do not tolerate each other at all. Males will fight (sometimes to the death), and because they have very good eyesight you have to be careful not to buy 2 cages and 2 chameleons then place them in line of sight of each other. Males will tolerate females generally only when breeding, other than that they're solitary animals.

Jasmine, got him from Wharf.

I'll get more pics as soon as I can. He doesn't like to be handled and taking pics in the tank is impossible due to the heat & uv lamps making all the photos washed out. I'll take some more pics next week when I have to get him out for another shower.
