V2 Micro Bubbles

Just starting to get mico bubbles from my skimmer and am keen to try and resolve this, im running a TMC V2 400 Skimmer with the bubblestop, the bubblestop has been a nightmare to get right from the word go and evertime i clean it it takes hours of playing around to get minimal to no bubbles.

Was just wondering if anyone has had any success with making something upo to stop this before i go off and experiment?

ive got exactly the same skimmer on my new tank and i get a few micro bubbles and ime gunna try and take out the white filter bit in the bottom of the bubble stop and replace it with a wad a filter wool and see what happens.

the v2's are very well known for this but for most it just takes time talkin months here...
