I have a 30 gallon US tank. I'm tired of dealing with algea. So I'm looking for a external UV filter thingamajig. What wattage would I need for a 30 gallon?

I'm not an expert at how much is needed for algae removal, but I know just a 9 watter would be fine for parasites on a tank that size. Makes me think a 9 watt model would be good for algae too
