What do you think? anyone tried it?
or if the thermostat gets stuck and it starts heating 24/7, at least it won't boil your tank.Discomafia said:Also, if one of them goes kaput, you can always rely on the other one to make sure your tank doesn't become a skating rink...
If you have good ciculation in your tank through filters etc. then the water should be moving around the tank anyway.....I have done temp checks on my tanks at times using a few thermometers at various points through the tank....no matter where they were the temp was the same.....And this was done on my 4 ft (75 gal) tankhounds4u said:so say your tank is 4 foot or over it will only warm up one end while the other end remains cool. having heater each end means a constant level temp
oh do i agree to that, my power bar was full as soon as i got it.Inchworm said:Using 2 heaters in a large tank is a good idea, but it's not always practical. The problem is that wall outlets are scarce and even using a power strip, they fill up fast.
