i have a pregnant pearl gourami and male gourami but the male doesnt seem to be making a bubble nest. plsssss tell me how i can look after my pregnant fish and save her eggs ........ i have live and plastic plants in the tank including floating plants and rocks i have to put margarine lid floating on the tank where the male can make his bubble nest...i took out half of the water too...
pls tell me what else i can do and also is it alright to turn the lights on at night time for them ......

Try seperate them, once seperated feed them brine shrimp to get them in the mood , also be careful not to have to much water movement on the surface
