So, how is your group of lacustris settling in now?

they are settled in fine. still a little bit timid but they have the right amount of space. i have just finished planting up so they are a bit nervous when a hand goes into the tank. im also getting them used to feeding at the surface.

are you only running the juwel piece of **** filter on your 240? is that they only filter you have? if so i suggest buying an external as that filter certainly cant cope with the amount of fish that go in that tank!
on my Rio 240 i was running an Ex1200 and a 700. but should have gone with two 1200's TBH.

BBS (baby brine shrimp) will be gobbled up quite rapidly Daphnia (water fleas) make a better meal due to their size when compared to BBS.

You are more than welcome for the advice, I just can't wait for the pics when they settle in! I know you will take fantastic care of them.

i have ordered some BBS eggs for a home hatchery.

i couldnt find many daphnia egg sellers. might have to have a look on ebay.
i will wack up some pics later in the week. but not much has changed as most of the nutritious food is in the post! (BBS, spirinula flakes etc)
