things are more over priced down there and its a dump.. sorry but its my opinion... enjoy urselfs guys, hopefully ill make one that isnt based in london.

Just a suggestion but as those of us that do attend will probably all be taking pics of the day, I'd like to offer to coordinate all the pics and put them on one thread so that we don't end up with numerous threads all showing the same thing.

How about York. It is supposed to be good for nightlife. I also live in Newcastle so if i can attend on the chosen date (i work full time and shifts) i am willing to drive and take other members if needed. I know i am very new to this forum but I would like to meet other people.

London Aquarium at 12pm

entry to the aquarium is
£8.75 per adult
£5.25 per child and
£6.50 per student

Sorry mrswoman, we have arranged this to take place at the London Aquarium.

I know that nightlife and cheesespecialist would prefer one to take place further north though so maybe try contacting them.

If possible, I would like to attend both!

Yes, i live there and yes, it is a dump. Especially compared to Devon, where im originally from.

I however have met alot of ppl who love the place, and lets face it - it is the capital of the country and is one of the most important cities in the world - be it a dump.
There is always something happening there and there is no shortage of work.

No offence, but i find most to the Midlands cities a dump also IMO. I regularly go to Birmingham, being an Aston Villa supporter, and man, now that is a dump.

Hmmmm we can rant on about nice places as much as we like. Not really gonna get us anywhere is it?

Are you Scottish or Irish by any chance?

I know you can't please everyone and London is a good central point.

Might I suggest for people elsewhere that perhaps we meet again at future dates, one up North , one down South and if possible one in the West Country .

London is anything but central!!! It's at the bottom of England, making it stuppidly far from Scotland (if we include there) and also far from the North of England, especially North West. Only goods thing is that it easy to get to.

Sorry to bud in cuz I'm from the states and all, but someone, whoever started this meeting, has to make a call on where it's gonna be, and whoever can be there .... FINE!
