Drayton manor or american adventure, Alton towers is way to expensive for most of us! I think it should be between the 10th and 20th of August, that way, kids can come because school has finished by the 10th and By the 20th most schools haven't started up again.

Sorry, but Plymouth/London etc is out for me. I simply can't get there and get home without leaving home at 5am and leaving the meet really early.

I don't mind if it goes ahead without me. I can see from the map that I am the furthest north, so I understand.

I propose one meeting were the majority can attend.

Sorry for anyone who can't make this but it's going to be impossible to please everyone.

If those who cant make it wish to organise something else themselves then feel free.

I think a Saturday is best as those of us travelling by train are more likely to get a direct service or at least not have to change as much.

Also there's more stuff to do on a Saturday ( longer opening hours etc)

I dont really know what you're all talking about! lol But if you're looking for a 'fishy' place to meet, somewhere central, what about the sea life centre in Birmingham?! Thats central! and easy for people to get to!! Just a suggestion!

If you read everything that has to do with this topic you will see that we tried that and were getting nowhere. Its just supposed to be a nice day out with people that have something in common.
I'm sorry that you feel leftout CS but It is a nightmare to arrange this meet up.
why not sort it out yourself next year and you will see the problems first hand.

Well, I thought it would have been pretty simple to pick a central point using the map that Chix put up?

Not exactly rocket science. I don't feel left out as such, I just feel a bit annoyed that there's a stupid North / South divide even on somewhere like here. I understand that there are many people down South but I do think it's unfair to have it where there are more people rather than where's central.

Maybe the others will be albe to go though. Enjoy it and I look forward to seeing the pictures.
