the middle o' bum**** and you got a purty mouf
So today i go to pick up some convicts to plop in my 20g and while im in the cichlid sect of petsmart i happen by the oscars. and this poor little red oscar surely would not have survived another 20 minutes being picked on by huge red oscars all in a 15 thats right 15 gallon tank. needless to say i saved the poor little guy hes all scarfed up scars all over the poor lil fella and what i belive to be damage done to his gills. This is utterly outrageous the little guy 4 inches TOPS was in a tank with oscars along the lines on 8-12 inches!

Well that's too bad the fish was being picked on, I'm glad you rescued him, as long as he has a big tank to go in he should have a very happy life from now on. :)

What size tank have you got for it? I may be wrong but I thought you had 2 oscars in a 55 gallon already.

I know it might sound cruel but its my opinion that by rescueing the oscar you are helping the cycle continue, as long as fish sell the shop will keep stocking fish like that and not change. Sometimes the most humane thing you can do in the long run is to walk away (as well as complain to the owners).

people say that but ifn they dont buy it then it fees like your killing it

But by buying it you're supporting the shop, which will buy even more fish and kept them in the same or worse conditions. I know its hard but you're being part of the cycle, if you could walk away then at least you arn't supporting the practice and hopefully the shop will learn.

You wont get away with all 3 in a 90g tank and you cant get away with just 1 in a 55g, so how are you going to seperate them out once they hit around the 6" mark?
