Two Questions....

1) Is it healthy when a betta starts eating voraciously at regular feedings?

2) Sparkling/carbonated water - can that be used as bowl/aquarium water? Or maybe just a bit?

I'm curious to know why you'd even want to put carbonated water in the bowl? Is it because you want to see bubbles? If you really want air bubbles (the bettas don't want them, particularly), you can get a small airpump for about ten dollars.

I do not want to see air bubbles out of curiosity. I was wondering if mineral water might be good for them. I know Telly hates bubbles.
