Turtle problems

Our turtle has lived with two guppies for over 4 months and never touched them  ,so I wouldn't use those as a main food source -_-

I feed my turtle anything from meats such as red and white, live fish such as zebra danio, neons. and live worms ( i just dropped a few in the tank and now they have buried themselves in the gravel, so i make him search for his own food so he feels as tho he is still in the wild and doesnt get his food served from a plate. the only thing he doesnt eat is dried food. and he's the happiest turtle in da whole wide world. he will eat almost anything! even my fingers if i leave them in striking range

this is my advice to you maybe your over feeding your turtle, try starving him for a few days almost a week... then feed him he may get his appetite back.

In the past month he has only eaten two fish (and a tiny tiny bit of tuna)
I dont think I am overfeeding

The vet told me that the turtle is expanding the stomach (because it didnt eat for a long time) so it will take a while

I still find it frustrating because he isnt eating anything I give him and just bites the fish

I will try some mealworms and see what happens...

yeah, I highly doubt he's overfeeding  the thread's subtitle is " won't eat a thing"

Now my turtle is sleeping a lot

He sleeps under the water and doesnt seem to want to eat the fish (wont even bite them)

Also, everytime I take out my turtle with my hands, it starts going crazy flailing around and puffing
Is that normal??

I dunno about puffing....but I've heard that if you pick them up and they make frantic swimming motions with their feet...it's a good sign of a healthy turtle ;)

Really??
that would be great!

The turtle does give up after a while but it sure does move a lot when picked up

It just ate another fish
but still sleeping like mad!!!!
