Turbo Snails

This seems a bit odd to me but hopefully someone out there has been there, seen that and now sports a natty line in tee shirts. Over the last week I've had to remove a dead or nearly dead turbo snail every day. We started off with around a dozen in 125l but now they seem to just dieing. There's plenty of algae on the front glass only, i have to wipe it daily, the sides get hardly any, which is wierd but another day.

Is there anything that kills snails, maybe one of the fish - although most of the inhabitants came from a tank with snails which they never touched. the exception being a scarlet hawk.

Any ideas?

Depends, the term "Turbo" snail is unfortunately slapped on many different species. Anyway you can link a pic here, either your own, or from elsewhere on the 'net that shows what snails you have?
