Trying To Breed My Cories

Another 3 eggs just layed

...and just spawned again

and another 3 but she ate one before I could get it

this is so amazing to watch! I'm supposed to be at work in an hour aswell! I havn't even put my make up on or dryed my hair yet! I'm too busy watching cories finally laying eggs!

I know the feeling, I can lose hours watching my fish, especially when there are babies

I got the jist of this now. When she's about to lay she holds her rear fins together and you can see the eggs in between. She goes and seems to 'clean' the spot with her mouth and lays them in a little row. If I'm quick enough I can gently roll them and get them to stick to my finger and then stick them to the little pot I use that's got some tank water in.

WOW ... amazing. I'm well proud of her

Haha I wish! I only gotta go and re-dress the windows so hopefully a couple of hours and I'll be back home- she may have layed me a few more by then lol.

8 is enough to raise though to be honest. It's only my second attempt and the last 2 died

I came home to another 5 eggs! So I think I have 13 all together but it's so hard to count them all lol

I've never had so many eggs as this so I'm really excited

Can you get a video of her? would be good for others trying to breed them to see

If they go again I'll certainly try. She was laying them all over the place and it's my youngest female aswell! She must've been full of eggs

Yes unfortunately, it is a rocky road , and very hit n miss to rearing cories, but hopefully you'll get there in the end

I just found two more eggs which brings the count to 15!!!

The other female peppered is looking a wee bit chunky aswell
