Troublesome Tetra!

You can tell from the video, in my opinion, that the neons have been alone for a while.  My neons rarely go to the top for food, they usually wait around mid-water in my tank.  My mean harlequin rasboras are the ones that shoot to the top.  I guess my neons (which were added later) just prefer to stay out of that fray.
Now that I think about it, you're right. I can't wait to see what they'll do with the sera 0-nip tomorrow. Today's fasting day.

Just a quick update: the sera 0-nip was a success. They gobbled it up before it fell off which was something my neons alone could never achieve
This morning I fed them bloodworms: another success. I also did a partial Rescape. I took out the old castle and replanted the amazon sword plant. They really appreciate the extra room. The coloring has improved massively and I think they are fully adapted now. Looking through them it is like red cellophane. A picture has been entered in this months FOTM competition of my flame tetras.
For dinner tonight I had tuna steak, peas, beans and potato ( this is relevant , I'll get there in a moment ) . The tuna was great and the vegetables were tasty. Of course I still have beans and peas left over. I won't feed the potato cos it had spice and stuff all over it. Tomorrow I will feed the beans and peas and let you know how it turns out. Anytips on how to do it?
Do the peas float?

Just a little addition- I upgraded my brineShrimp tank today. There are 2 of them in a 800mL cricket container from previous purchases of crickets. I have added additional eggs in hopes of having another active breeding colony of brineShrimp. My previous colony was going great till some wise jerk decided to knock them over  . Had them for 6 years too.... :-(
Oh well, hopefully this bigger better enclosure will merit even better results. I will try to get pics tomorrow.

BrineShrinp are loving there new home. I'll try to find some gravel today.
Now, the feeding. They nibbled at the peas but that's about it really. They didn't touch the beans. Spike ( my brisltensoe) loved sucking on the leftpvers.
I gave my crickets a bean 1/2 and hour ago. They've eaten it already! I wonder how long they'll keep. I have like 10 beans left, I'll give the circles another one tomorrow.
* Crickets.

I normally just use frozen peas and run hot water over them to thaw them, I then deshell them and mash them with the back of a breadknife. The danio's always eat it all up and I feed them one weekly. I've never fed them beans though.
How did you prepare the pea's and beans?

I boiled them. They ate the peas fine I think it's just that beans are not as tasty. :dunno:

All flames have survived but one neon has died of unknown causes. Can I get 2-3 more neons to add to my 10 flames, 6 neons and a bristlenose?
The school looks rather pathetic is all. :/

Responses needed as I'm leaving in about 5 mins XD. Should have asked earlier on. ;)

It should be fine either way...

:yahoo:
I'll grab some more plants to add oxygen and all that jazz. I'll look for vallis or java fern!

Well, the store did have neon tetras. 5 of them. So me being the caring/ stupid person I am I took all 5 so the 2 that would be left behind wouldn't be lonely.mprobably not the best choice I've ever made. :/
They're healthy and pretty though. :)

Keep up on the maintenance... you are now fully - over stocked. :p

Yup, I'm doing 50% twice weekly so should be OK.

They've settled well and are mingling with their new buddies. :)

Ack! I've lost 3 of them bringing my total down to 8. :rip:
