First I want to say "Thank you" to all that took the time to read and reply to my request for help.
I would like to give you an update on my Pearl Gourami girl.
I did not do the second round (package) of the Triple Sulfa.
I couldn't get out the day after I posted due to snow.
I noticed she seemed to keep improving so I thought I'd watch and see how she progressed.
I did continue the medicated food. It is Anti-Bacterial Medicated Fish Food by Jungle.
It's hard pellets so I crushed it. I used it for 10-11 days and then mixed it with their
regular food for 2 days before discontinuing.
I am beyond happy to report that she is doing very well.
The sores on her mouth are gone with only a small mark on one side barely discernible.
She is active and eating well.
I do keep a close eye on her mouth for any signs of recurrence.
