would it be possible to make the link for tracking your topic as apparent as say the reply, or edit, or even the "options" button.

i know it's just something small and stupid, just thought i'd suggest it.
i know when i first came on i posted things and went off the system of "welli know it was in this section somewhere" and just kept looking for my post till i found it again, because it took me a few posts to realize it was under the options button.

i think this is a main reason that many new people post 1 time, and then they never respond. because as other people put up topics and theirs doesn't get replied to, it gets pushed further and further back and they don't know how to track it yet.

maybe i'm just slow
i had never used forums before so i knew there had to be a way to do it, just didn't see it anywhere immediately.
i jus thought it might cut down on some of the posts where people reply with extensive responses, and the OP never gets back to them.

we should probably just make this a whole stupid question post...
i don't see this e-mail thing.. i don't particularly want more e-mails though.

i dunno it just seemed to me that most computer apps. or w/e would have a very easily accessible button for that.
like right in front of your face in big words TRACK THIS THREAD or something haha
heck i didn't even know if tracking was the right thing when i first started...versus subscribing, versus like..."add this to my list".

i know it's a stupid thing..just thought about it a few times and thought i'd mention it. just as a thought.

oh i see it now..when you click on the fast reply button there is a check box at the bottom of the text box...never saw that till now..and like i said, what if you don't want e-mails?

haha alright i'll let it go i know it's dumb.

Oh that box, thought you meant you could choose threads and subscribe without adding a response (which of course you can track)

duh, think I was having a 'senior moment'

:fish:

You can also subscribe to a topic without posting on it. Just click the "Options" box on the top right o the thread and then check "Track This Topic". It will take you to a screen where you choose the notiication type you want.
