Wondering if anyone knows of some toys that I could put in my red devils tank to keep him entertained when I'm at work.
Thanks in advance :)

... A mirror :p

Other than that I imagine he'd have a fun time attacking some larger floating balls of some description providing he can't eat them.

What sort of tank does it have? Ping pong balls, floating ducks (rubber duck), you could try airstones, fish on the other side of a divider depending on tank size? A mirror as said may work. What sort of environment does it have, bogwood? Gravel? Sand? Rocks? Does it sit an area where things walk past it's tank a lot, things like dogs, cats or people of course. Feeder shrimp could keep it doing something during the day as well, I wouldn't promote the use of feeder fish however.

I wasn't aware that fish needed entertainment :p. Mine usually seem perfectly entertained eating, pooping and breeding but maybe that's just mine :p.

You could try fish he can chase/eat. LOL Hey...it works for my Oscar. ;) I also have a ping pong ball with holes in it. He plays with until he sees me walk in the door...then it's... Dad!!! Dad!!! Pay attention to me!!! I'm hungry...And, that's how it works until I go to bed. Walk near the tank... Dad...pay attention to me!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

LOL

But...I  the little guy.

I know, eventually, he'll eat the two tiger barbs ni his tank. But, until then....I'll keep him..and them. ;)

Yeah he has a huge tank 6foot x 2 foot. Lots of rocks, wood and gravel but he just so intelligent I fear he is bored. Thanks for all the suggestions guys Ill try them out.
Kerrie :D

Oh yeah forgot to add he enjoys terrorising the cat. Lures him to the tank to look in then hides then charges the glass scares the cat to death, very funny

my RD has 2 ping pong balls with holes drilled in them so that they sink to the bottom and he pushes them around plus a really really deep gravel bed so that he has plenty to dig in other than that he just sits there and scares the crap out of me when I am on the computer by banging on the lid of his tank.
