Tough fish

I'd say that my banjo cats are pretty tough, they survived an ich epidemic, temperature spike (Went from 78-95 in 6 hours  ), and I'm not sure what or if they eat

Goldfish - When I was young my Dad won me one from a fair.
I knew nothing of keeping fish and had him in a bowl, no filter, no water conditioner nothing, I would completely scrub out his bowl and gravel every once in a while when I remembered and he lived like that for 14 years.

Man do I feel guilty now :-(

Common Goldfish undoubtedly - then fathead/rosy minnows, white cloud mountain minnows, zebra and leopard danios, platies, mosquito fish, swordtails and three-spot gouramies. I've found angelfish and black widow tetras to be pretty hardy as well.

pelcos are really tough, there like cockroaches

and surpising my Kissing gourami are quite tough as well, when i got them they were so stressed they were white, even though cycling they've gotten bigger and are a nice pink now

some of my tiger barbs were too

Betta fish..iv had alot of them..mine have over powered werid temp spikes

Zebra danios and platies are alive 4 weeks into a cycle with me so there doing well. I have no idea how soon a circle may kill other fishes to compare though :)

Had a common plec that I kept for at least 10 years, don't know how old he was when I got him. Paradise fish are great. Convict cichlids are darn near immortal. Got some albino aeneus cats that are at least three years old. Percula clowns (currently had for 4 years), blue damsels (currently 3 years) ....also had a desjardin sailfin tang for a long time.

My Clown Loaches have been really great. But my 180 gallon tank is in my office at work and I wanted hardy fish since I wouldn't be there all the time. I stocked it with Giant Danios, Tinfoil Barbs, Rosy Barbs, Kribs, Australian Rainbows, Congo Tetras and a Parrotfish. This group of fish have been together for three years, the Kribs spawn every 7 weeks and I have not had a death or illness (Knock knock) since I set it up.
