Which is your picture? He/she is handsome. I think Sterbai and the Swartz may be a little more $ here as adults in my lfs than the more common cories (whatever those are). But I'm not sure; maybe not? I have 3 that were sold as punctatus.
Inchworm helped me id my peppers my first post on the forum (I was told they were spotted)
, but so far all I've figured out is what the 3 are not. They are definately NOT punctatus. They are one of the spotted with the mask and dark dorsal. But they have slight variations from all the ones I've found pictures of. They are much more shy than the peppers. I like the peppers. They're cute and visually busy. I see Sterbai and Swartz in my lfs all the time. But the little peppers were sold out fast. My others are handsome but hide more. Until I got them in the big tank I hardly ever saw them.
How will you move your stock? I've wondered how that is done. With lots of little plastic bags?
I imagine one of the really important things is the acclimation process. Big job to get everyone taken care of while your're trying to take care of yourself. Almost an all day thing by itself with all the attention it takes to do right. Let us know how it goes.

yup i will, it'll be mid august when i move. The tank is going to be a guppy and cory only tank, my guppies dont even eat baby cories...maybe it's cause they are baby themselves..oh wait..they are old enough to give birth.. Anyways the cories will not eat guppy fry neither will the guppies, therefore the 55 gallon tank will be filled with around 100 guppies of all sizes, and wait for them to mutliply and it's cool to see now the colors from each generation changes, my fish are all red tho, i'm going to buy some lyretail, some blue guppies, maybe albino , snakeskin guppies ( whole guppy) etc and maybe i can become a breeder for petstores, who knows, maybe i can even breed a new guppy color
I also want to breed other cories instead of my sterbais, i have made money off of sterbai cories tho, quite alot $3 ea
So, back to the tank moving, i got kinda off topic there. One of my 10 gallons cracked ..and i had to take all the water out gravel..fish out around 50 fish, and all, and i know the pain, so the next day i got a new 10G from warrenty. Incase my tank cracks again...i'm lowing the water level a little bit at a time( if you look at my new thread in member's aquarium pictures) and hopefully, the tank would be able to handle the moving, instead of taking out 100% water, and filling back it up again
So, my fish will all be gone except for my cories and guppies, which will be easy to bag, i plan to leave around 10% water in my 10G fry tannk incase i dont scoop up all the fry.
All the ornaments will be taken out. The gravel will be in a buket with a little bit of water to keep the bacteria alive..HOPEFULLY. 50% of the tank water will be kept in multiple buckets and when i get there, i'll fill the tank up asap, putting the cories in the fry tank for 1 day and the 55 gallon will be cycled in no time, like the next day..HOPEFULLY, and i'll put all the fish in there, done. IT'll be alot of work.
Sorry for that LONG and BORING post
The tank is just ONE of the problems, i still gotta set up the bed frames, set up the rooms, etc + i gotta set up the basketball net too
It'll be hard work, but i'm used to it
