Total Beginner Advice On What Equipment To Buy!

We looked at that one and tbh it was very cheap and plasticky looking, lighting was rubbish and the filter was pretty average. We ended up getting the FishXBox instead.

I would definitely advise against buying a stand as they are cheap chipboard and not worth the money. Either put the tank on a sideboard, etc. or build your own

Thanks for the advice, it seems alot of people like the fishbox, does anyone have anything similar they think might be an option?

This is exactly what I did. When I had my medium tank I bought a second hand old style tv stand which was great. When I got a larger tank I bought a lovely 70's sideboard that was big enough to support both tanks. WAY more affordable than buying a tank stand and it is made from good solid wood.
