Free plant cutting to be given away!
I've got some limnophila sessiliflora (common name: Dwarf Ambulia) in my tank which has to be cut back - it's growing all the way across the top of the water now! Not so Dwarf if you ask me!
If anyone coming to the Toronto meet wants some for their tank, I can cut it just before I come to the meet, bag it up and give it to you then. From a clean tank (of course!)
About Ambulia:
This stuff is *really* healthy, it's pretty and it grows like crazy! All you need to do is shove the cut end into your gravel and off it goes!
Plant Position: Middle and Back, as a background or side planting.
Light: Strong Light preferred though I've just got the light that came with the Eclipse tanks and it's fine.
REMARKS: Use an iron fertilizer and keep the tank clean.
DESCRIP: Bright green fan like whorls of leaves on stems. very brittle. A very popular aquarium plant owing to its beautiful foliage. Most decorative when planted in groups. Dwarf gouramis will nibble and pulp this plant for material in their bubble-nests.
I've got enough for 3 or 4 people at least. As I said, if anyone wants some, let me know!
