Too Much Filtration

is there such a thing? im looking at upgrading the filter on my main tank which is a shallow 4 ft one currently running an aquavital avex1000. once the avex has new seals it will still be perfectly serviceable. is it over kill to use on a 2ft tank?

No such thing as overfiltering. Just too much flow.

As long as its not like a washing machine (To much turbulence) it will be fine.

well it hasnt happened yet
some bugger put xmas the end of this month but before payday so wont be until the new yr but i have an idea to prevent too much turbulence
