I just wanted to know does anyone know how to sex a toadfish, sculpin, scorpionfish. I don't know there are so many common names but the scientific name is Halophryne Trispinosus. Oh and the pic is my Avatar.

I hope u know that thing in yur avatar is saltwater. try saltwaterfish.com and go to the message boards Its a good site and i know a bunch of people who could help u out. I dont think you could breed them because i dont think yur supposed to have more than one in a tank.

Ya I know that they prefer saltwater and I am in the process of bringing it from brakish (that's what it is in know) to saltwater. i'm actually trying to find their right salinity. I mainly asked out of curiosity if anyone knew how to sex them.

actually i am lik e99% sure that they are full salt from birth. Go to the site i posted about and people there should know how ot sex them
