Toad lifespan ?

Bit of a silly question but how long would a toad living in our garden live (UK)??
we have had this huge toad and my mum and i were talking and she thinks its 20yrs old ! i thought it may be a different toad but he is HUGE and jkust wondered !

It's probably a different toad. Toads usually only live around 2 to 3 years in the wild, although I have heard of them living up to 10 years--sometimes more--in captivity.

Actually the average lifespan of a European Common Toad (Bufo Bufo) in the wild, in the UK is in fact 15-20 years! They can top 40 in captivity!
