Update!

Hi! well its been a few days and my temps are stable at 78f
my PH is aound 8.3
and my Salinity is at 1.022 now! so if i want to raise the sal over a few weeks the PH should rise slightly also!

tonight i will wash out the sand and run it in some saltwater with a heater afterwards..So!!!
what next? LR ?

let me know what u guys think please i havent had a lot of input on the thread..that i have had has been great..

Yep, LR is next.............if you are planning on corals bring your sG up a bit before the LR goes in, if just fish then SG is ok

so ive read that it takes a while to raise the salinity !! does this only apply to a tank that has already got LR
and fish?
what i mean is, can i go ahead and mix the salt in to the tank quickly as i have nothing in there ?
or is it a slow process?

Go ahead and raise the SG, only have to do it slowly if you have livestock

Hello again !

well i have a salinity of 1.024 and a ph of 8.3 ..Today is LR day!!
so i will go shortly and pick up 20kgs of LR from the LFS and this is where i will need help ..just to keep
me right goin through the cycle etc .....
so do i run the Skimmer when i scape and LR is in or do i wait for cycle to start?
i picked up another Koralia 2day.

Hi folks !!

Update time!

ok i got the LR in the tank and the second Koralia also
when i picked up the LR a rather large crab fell out lol
so back it went to shop dude lol
anyhows i have 18kg in tank 2kg in ref i might put another 1Kg in the ref.

ok sorry for the lack of pics but i cant upload em as they are too big is 100kjpg ok?

so im goin to do test in morning etc ..any advice please feel free ..

Kip, most of us use an online photo hosting site called www.photobucket.com for pictures. You upload them there and then below the picture thumbnails you'll get "tags" of code. You paste the IMG tags into the forum as you're typing and you get the picture
