wats the best way to keep them

i got 1 but think i should get another one so his not alone wat u think??


does anyone no how to sex them??

Majority of eels can't be sexed or bred in captivity, and I think this is the case with tire track eels too, could be wrong though. I've never really done alot of research into tire tracks, remember reading some stuff about them which skimming fer other eel related stuff though and am pretty sure it applies to them too. CFC should be able to tell you more, or a search on google.

Tyre track eels can grow to over a meter so you will need a very large tank to house one when full grown, they are territorial towards their own species and other eels so should really be lept alone or with other large fish.
