Tim's 180 Litre Marine Tank Journal

Awsome mushrooms! Id probably move the piece of LR joining the two bommies and place it up top right, to form two distinct bommies. But the way you have it is still dam gorgeous! Very nice LR and corralline! :good:

Cheers mate, bommie = stack of rocks? :D Maybe, I'll try and see what it looks like. Shrooms looking good under the actinics 8)

Bought my second fish species today. Picked up a nice Yellow Watchman Goby, was difficult to find but eventually sourced one.

He's settling in OK, found a nice hole under a rock but generally seems happy (although being a goby his face says otherwise  )

Also saw the hawaiian pyjama wrasse (4 line wrasse) that my LFS ordered for me, nice colouration and seems very healthy, should pick that up next week.

Also reserved a coral beauty which will go in in a fortnight or so, and a pulsing xenia. That should conclude the fish stocking.

My new additions

They are reef/fish/invert safe .

I you have a invert eating fish that corners it the shrimp will click its claw and knock the fish out for like 10 seconds its kinda funny and usualy will not hurt the fish.
With you stocking it should do fine.

Picked up my Hawaiian Pyjama\4 line wrasse today. An absolutely stunning fish with amazing colours.

I'll try and get some pics tomorrow, but he's quick!

Also picked up a rather nice pink pulsing xenia which is looking very nice aleady.

New pics of new hawaiian pyjama wrasse, and also the xenia and sponge I picked up :good:

This was a tough shot to get, he's fast! Doesn't really do his true colours justice, lovely pinks in the fins :good:

Gorgeous Wrasse and Sponge there :good:.

Unfortunately, thats not a Xenia, its a Goniopora. Goniopora are very difficult and have poor survival rates in the home aquarium. Many have kept them but their survivability rate is very low. I'd get reading up on it if I were you. So long as it keeps its color, its healthy, but if it starts bleaching its likely going to perish. Feedings of phytoplankton, rotifers, and/or cyclopeeze are almoast required to keep goniopora along with high light and relatively high flow. Good luck with it
