Tim and Adele's new Dog....

Meet Bear, our new 6yr old German Shepherd cross from the RSPCA. We will leave updates to mark his progress in the coming weeks.

Bear is very lucky to have you as his "dad". He's luvly and I wish I could have a dog Unfortunately my hubby has allergies and can't have cats or dogs. Hmmm - I suppose I could get rid of hubby

Cool dog, my mate got one from the SPCA a while back, he was dubious as it was a mongrel but he say's its the best dog he's ever had, apparently research has shown they are smartest... it can't be dumber than my springer spaniel!! She swims about 1/2mile out to sea to make the seagulls fly of the water

I'll post in Household Pets in the future if I have no photos, but he had a big, long walk today and he was very good! Went off the lead in the park and didn't stray far! Considering we've only had him since Friday afternoon he has already settled in really well. He is, however, very possessive of his toys!! But you know, boys with their toys lol

And may I say...I commend you for rescuing an animal from the shelter

I wish more peeps would consider this as there are many animals in need of homes.

I myself could never go into a shelter, you see I am a softy at heart and I could not deal with seeing all those unwanted pets looking so sad.....well enough......

I'll most likely always have Rescue dogs, my family have had many over the years. I'm with you there CM!

think it is putting it mildly that cm is a big softie at heart! how many dogs do you have now?

do want to also congratulate gibbo and adele on rescuing a dog. they do make the best pets in the world. got our big old dumb lab/rottweiler mix from someone who was going to take him to the pound. greatest dog there is.

for that matter think all of you guys are just big softies!
