I am setting up a 29 gallon aquarium for my discus to breed in and thought that i would try my hand at building my own stand. I found this great video on how to build your own stand on you tube from a guy that periodically writes articles in the tropical fish hobbyist. The video is below and i will be posting some pics of my stand as i go along.

I plan to use the frame design but turn it into a cabinet. And i am going to paint it black to match my 55 gallon stand. updates will follow later today.

Here are some pics of the build. I only built the frame today because i need to wait until payday to get the rest of the wood i will need.
One side of the frame done.
