That betta looks EXACTLY like my moms, and she paid maybe 3 dollars for him. Trust me comet, it looks better in real life, I should know... I have it's clone sitting out in the kitchen...

Well I'll be! All this time I've been buying my fish from overseas and top breeders, when I could've just driven over to Wal-Mart

its a bad picture of the betta,
but lik everyone said you can get him a lot cheaper else where.

and he'll probley go into a vase in someones lounge room anyways :(

poor little guy

and take a look at their feedback. 97.6% is pathetic.
Check out the community feedback discussion board, most experienced eBayers wouldn't bid when the seller has less than 98% pos fb, minimum!

It's kind of a shame, but you can't even tell the people bidding that they're being taken. That would be interference and would get you in trouble with the eBay police. -_-

"some one needs to tell that sucka" Mr T

I believe selling goods like that is fraud isnt it? VT's are not shown , they are considered mutts and there for this person is false advertising.

Maybe.............maybe not. -_-

If a fish is ever shown by anyone, anyplace at any time, I would think that such a broad description as "show betta" would cover it. Maybe children would show such a fish at a some kind of pet show event. And notice too that they are not saying it, or any of its relatives actually won anything. ;)

One of the things everyone has to watch out for when buying something that they cannot see is the possibility of reading something into an ad that isn't really there. It says what it says and that's all it says. :D

Anyway, value is in the mind of the buyer and no one is being forced to bid on it. If the fish that is pictured is that fish that is delivered, the buyer should be satisfied. Who knows, that fish might be a perfect match someone drapes and they might consider it a real find as a "decorator item." Someone might be really thrilled to have it at any price.
