This Hitchhiker Can't Be Good

Hi all

I was looking at one of my turbo snails today and seen a little pink spikey thing poking out of a hole in the LR, i always have my camara phone hanging around so i took this pic.



And then all of a sudden it came right out, had a really close look at my snail and then disapeared again.



What is it, anyone know? Thats one of my biggest snails in the pictures, i reckon this thing was about 3cm long, well what i could see of it anyway.

touching them is fun, its like extreme marine sport .... well it could be... fire worms are worse, or are they the same i can never remeber...

It sounds like it could be a eunicid worm and probably just as well you took it out. They can get pretty big.

Yea, those stories are some crazy insane stuff. I'll definitly have some amount of nightmares and sleepless nights when I get my tank set up
