Thinking Of Getting Snakeheads One Day

Before i go off doing tonnes of research in directions i probably dont need to, can anyone recommend a good species to start with?
Preferably small species

great choice of fish and easy to keep if correct tank provided for

I;d recomend Orientalis which reamain about 4 inch and Pulchra whcih get bigger but not a silly size

Hi.

For smaller Channa, there is a great deal to choose from!

If you want something relatively easy to care for, the Channa Simonas recommended is perfect. You could add Bleheri, Assam, Gachua to that list also.

If you fancy something a little more challenging (quite a bit challenging) then Blue Moon Galaxy, or Fire & Ice are well worth the extra care needed.
IMO, these two are the most beautiful of the smaller Channa, possibly the most beautiful full stop!
